The project "Live from Norway" is finally here. It is inspiring, uplifting, stirring, elevating, energetic, and amazing. This project is recorded in Norway and produced by Light of Love and directed by Calvin Rodgers.

This was an awesome event........Good food, great music, and a lot of wonderful people. Light of Love introduced Chicago to their new music project, "Live from Norway". It was an amazing Red Carpet event.

This has been a long time coming. Light of Love had the pleasure of recording this project in front of  a Norwegian audience last year. With great anticipation, Light of Love is excited to finally be releasing their first live recording ever. This project has something for everyone and a message in every song. This project captures the heart of the group.

During 6 days in March 2010 (March the 10th-15th) Stavanger Gospel Company got the privilege of hosting the award winning gospel artist Donnie McClurkin, Light of Love, Cinque Cullar and 30 American top level gospel musicians, background vocals, technicians, providers and coordinators. They were all invited to join Stavanger Gospel Company (SGC) in the first THIS IS GOSPEL-festival ever.
"This is Gospel" is a Norwegian and American project idea put together by Aril Schold(Stavanger Gospel Company) and Anita Holmes(Light of Love) and is hosted every year by Stavanger Gospel Company, in Stavanger, Norway.

Stavanger Gospel Company is now putting the finishing touches on its new CD. In August 2007, an exciting cooperation began between SGC and Light of Love, a gospel group from Chicago. Light of Love consists of five preeminent African American gospel singers, who for the past decade have worked with major artists such as TOTO, Bobby McFerrin, George Michael, and most of the first tier American gospel artists. SGC has been given a unique opportunity to recreate this culture in Norway, producing a CD in which this group has been heavily involved. The CD has been recorded partly in Chicago and partly in Stavanger. During the past year, Light of Love has made four trips to Stavanger to prepare for the recording together with the choir. The CD will contain 9 songs composed by choir members and 3 traditional gospel songs. The meeting of two different cultures – the African American and the Norwegian – will be central both in the record and in the concerts following the release.
